Exif Pilot 5.0: XMP-Editing Feature.

We have released new version of Exif Pilot. The new version of Exif Pilot 5.0 has feature for editing, creating, and deleting XMP metadata. It is out first to for adding support editing XMP properties. The previous versions of Exif Pilot had ability to read XMP. Starting with the v. 5.0 the program can write XMP.
Many of people know that photo-servicies use the metadata of photos to embed some data in the page of uploaded image. For example, Flickr uses XMP properties to display sych info as email, address, city, url placed in the CreatorContactInfo strucure of XMP properties.
The first release contains editing only Dublin Core scheme of XMP metadata. Such tags like contributor, coverage, creator, date, desciption, format, publisher, rights, etc. are availible for editing.  The below is screen of editing dialog for XMP metadata:

In the future we are planing to exend number of XMP properties which available for editing. We’ll add new XMP properties and schemas in the future releases.

We are pleased to announce the release of Exif Pilot v.4.8. The new version of Exif Pilot allows to view, edit, create and delete camera camera manufacturers tags (known as MakerNote tags) still more. Buttons for copying dates from ‘Date Time’ to ‘Date Time Original’ and ‘Date Time Digitized’ were added in EXIF metadata editing dialog. So, you can fill in dates and times by one click.
