Color Correction

How to collect colors and
how to use colors from your collection to improve photos:

Here are two photos:

The first one has a good quality.

The second one has a dull grass color. We will improve it.

1. We will put the green color from the first photo into the collection:

  • choose "Reference Color" tool (at the bottom)
  • hold the mouse button to select the region of the grass we would like to take the color from
  • click the "Collect" button

The color in the collection now.

2. Now we will use this color to enhance the second picture.

  • select the region of the grass we wish to change
  • click the "Start" button (left panel)

We have corrected the photo!

              

 

Gray Correction

How to use reference gray to correct your photos:

We know that asphalt is gray.

  • choose the "Reference Gray" tool (at the bottom)
  • select the region of the asphalt
  • click the "Start" button.

Look at the result!

 

T-shirt Correction

Let's practise using colors from your collection.

Here are two photos:

The T-shirt on the second photo has a dull color. We will improve it.

1) Put the blue color from the first photo into the collection:

  • choose "Reference Color" tool
  • select the region of the T-shirt we would like to take the color from
  • click the "Collect" button

The color in the collection now.

2) Now we will use this color to enhance the second picture.

  • select the region of the T-shirt we wish to change
  • click the "Start" button

We have improved the photo!

 

White Correction 1

The blossoms should be white.

  • choose the "Reference White" tool (at the bottom)
  • select the region of the blossoms
  • click the "Start" button

We have corrected the photo!

 

White Correction 2

 

Let's practise using reference white.

The T-shirt should be white.

  • choose the "Reference White" tool
  • select the region of the T-shirt
  • click the "Start" button

Here is the result!
