How to create a template
 

A template is simply a document created in Form Pilot and then saved as a template file. For instance, you have the following document created in Form Pilot:

To save this document as a template, choose File | Save As Template...:

This command saves current document in the template format. The following dialog will appear:

- If you want to save the whole document, choose The whole document. The saved template will look like the original document.

- If you just want to save text and graphics you created with Drawing Tools, choose Text and graphics only. Note that in this case, images that you scanned in Form Pilot, opened from your hard drive, or got using the Convert document to image command, will not be saved in the template:

If you choose to save the template in the Templates folder (within the program folder), it will appear in the templates bar:
