It is possible in Adobe Acrobat X Pro to set the page numbers as they appear in the page thumbnail list when viewing a PDF file (not on the page itself, but just in the thumbnail view). Typically, the numbering of these pages might be set to reflect some internal document structure that deviates from normal ascending sequence beginning with "1". For example, the first pages of an ebook would begin with "i", "ii", "iii", "iv", etc. and then the first content page would be numbered as "1" and continue in ascending order.

Right click on page thumbnail (In Adobe Acrobat Pro) and select "Number Pages..." to see the the kinds of numbering options available.

How can I set the visible thumbnail page numbers in PDF Creator Pilot?

Hello Joebwan,

Unfortunately, PDF Creator Pilot hasn't got such feature.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
