Hi, I just installed PDF Creator Pilot and HTML2PDF 3.8 version and I am having problems running the test application (the one that converts www.msn.com). The application closes wihout reporting any error. In the Event Viewer I have the following:

Faulting application HTML2PDFTest.exe, version 3.8.56.0, faulting module mshtml.dll, version 6.0.3790.4237, fault address 0x001c9e48.

I have set the DEP to allow HTML2PDF to run properly as per your forum topic but with no luck. Any suggestion or help would be appreciated.

In Win 2003 Server you need DEP to be turned off for HTML2PDF Addon run properly.
To turn DEP off om Windows 2003 Server you need to edit your boot.ini file:
-----
[operating systems]
multi(N)disk(N)rdisk(N)partition(N)WINDOWS="Micros oft Server 2003" /fastdetect /NoExecute=AlwaysOff
-----
Parameter "/NoExecute=AlwaysOff" just appended to the line.
N = some number.

Hello Max,
Thank you for your response, unfortunately changing the boot.ini file did not work. The application still crashes reporting the same error in the EventViewer. I can see another entry generated by the error:

The application, C:Program FilesHTML2PDF Add-onHTML2PDFTest.exe, generated an application error The error occurred on 04/22/2008 @ 09:03:02.607 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 7FBA9E48 (mshtml!DllEnumClassObjects)

Thanks in advanced.
