Hi Asheesh,

You can determine page count, document properties (like title, keywords, e.t.c), page parameters (size, orientation), control properties. Some later we add abilities of text extraction, fonts and images extraction.

Use the folowing properties/methods:
UnicodeTitle - gets the title string,
GetPageCount () - gets the total page count,
PageHeight - gets page height
PageWidth - gets page width

What about used fonts, you may get them like that:

PDF.Open "document.pdf", "password"
n = PDF.GetFontCount()
for i = 0 To n-1
fontName = PDF.GetFontName(i)
fontDataSize = PDF.GetFontDataSize(i)
fontDataArray = PDF.GetFontData(i)
next

or you may call SaveFontToFile(...) methid to save a file to disk.

Well... I'll give a little background of my tool that might help...

I've a small search utility that searches for all file types using Microsoft Windows Desktop Search (WDS). That is, I use WDS as the search engine for my utility.. So whenever user tries to search using my utility, I query WDS to retrieve the file paths of files in which the search phrase is found. The issue is WDS doesn't perform a case-sensitive search. So to achieve case-sensitive search, I'll have to read the contents of files returned by WDS and see if there is a case-sensitive match. So for this purpose, I want to be able to read the pdf file contents from code.

Well, with PDF Creator Pilot you might try to do that.
http://www.colorpilot.com/pdflibrary.html here you may find samples and documentation.
