The answer Ive found is to turn OFF the user account control (UAC). I've done this and now Sound Pilot works perfectly in IE7.

I think I read somewhere that Vista has a control for enabling sound for the keyboard. Look in Control Panel or search with Google.

THE IE8 ON WINDOWS 7 WORKS BAD. ON W7 YOU CAN'T DESACTIVATE THE UAC SO CAN'T FIX THE PROBLEM AS IN VISTA

Dear Customer,

Unfortunately, the Sound Pilot software has not been tested with Windows 7. Sound Pilot is provided on an "as is" basis. We are not planning to expand the features of the program in the near future.

SORRY, BUT IT'S HARD FOR ME TO WAIT, SO TELL ME WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO TEST IT. WINDOWS 7 IS THE ULTIMATE S.O., AND YOU SELL A PRODUCT THAT DON'T WORK ON IT?????????

Dear Customer,

We tested Sound Pilot on the Windows 7.
In Windows 7 OS, software (MS Office Word, MS Office Excel) must be run with administration rights.
How to run, for example, MS Office Word with administration rights:
1. Click the "Start" button.
2. Choose "All programsm" then "MS Office Word."
3. Right-click on the program icon and choose the "Properties" option in the context menu.
4. In the "Properties" window, choose the "Compatibility" tab.
5. Select the "Run this program as an administrator" option.
6. Click "Apply" and "Ok".

Dear Customer,

We tested Sound Pilot on the Windows 7.

Disable UAC on Windows 7
Note: Disabling UAC will lead to a less secure system, so be warned.
1. Click the "Start" button.
2. You type UAC into the start menu
3. Open the "Change User Account Control settings"
4. You can simply drag the slider up or down, depending on how often
you want to be alerted. (we recommend drag it all the way down to the bottom,).
5. Click "Ok".
6. Restart the computer.

Sincerely,
Ira Cheredova
