Two Pilots forum / Digital photo software / Modify date to import to Photoshop Elements 5

I've purchased Exif Pilot to modify dates.

I've got loads of older photos where the files dates are wrong or missing so when I import them to Photoshop Elements 5 there not sorted correctly by date.

Even tough I modify DateCreation DateTime and DateTimeOriginal in Exif Pilot when I import them Photoshop ignore these and looks at file DateLastWrite. Can I edit this in Exif Pilot or another of your products.

Also each time I edit and save using Exif Pilot am I degrading the jpeg?

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry for the delay with the answer.

DateCreation, DateLastAccess and DateLastWrite are file attributes. They are not EXIF data. Exif Pilot does not support modifying these file attributes.
The fields DateTime, DateTimeOriginal, and DateTimeDigitized are part of EXIF info and they can be edited in Exif Pilot.

JPEG image is not degraded after each editing and saving EXIF info with Exif Pilot.
