I have just started a trial of this and it looks good apart from two nuggles with web generator and is otherwise very easy to use..

1. The html for the thumbnails does not have the image size coded. This causes the page to dance around while being loaded, as the images are downloaded, and the browser has to re-render with the correct size instead of the default. Once the images have been cached then this is not noticed of course. It only affects the first load of the page. It makes it look unprofessional.

2. Styles are used but these are coded throughout the HTML. Either a styles sheet should be used so it is easy to change/customise the styles, or these should be allowed to be specified in the customisations of the web generator. The former is easiest to implement and would satisfy most users, but the latter would be better for those without CSS skills.

It may be that I have missed something here as I have only done two quick pages with it, but I didn't spot anything in a quick look through the Help.

Dear JG,

Currently these features are not supported in the program. We hope to add them in future versions of Slide Show Pilot.

Just downloaded the trial version and intend to purchase if is possible when the link is accessed for the slide show to start automatically and play continuosly until you exit. If so, please advise how to do this.
Thanks!

Also, when creating a web slide show I am not able to control the type of effects. I just want to use fade and it is using random. I would like to be able to start the slideshow automatically without any menu items.

Thanks!

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

To take the navigation off the web screens and to have web slide show on starting you should to edit the StandalonePage.htm template in the "Program Files\Slide Show Pilot\Web Gallery\Slide Show (IE Transitions)" folder.
Also you can contact us via support form at: http://www.colorpilot.com/support.php and we'll send you the edited file.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Best regards,

Olga

Hi Olga,
<br>
<br>Regarding Slide Show Pilot, I sent you a request via your support link to send me the edited standalonepage.htm template. I would like for the web show to start automatically and to use only the fade effect between files. Slide duration of 2 seconds and fade duration of 1.5 seconds. The slide show seems to run faster on the web than on the computer. Perhaps we need to extend the times for web. Here is the link so you can see what I am talking about. Thanks!
