Hi after, so many months must we think that this little cool product is arrived at it's end?

Internet Explorer 9 was released months and months ago, everytime developer found an excuse..., sorry but a year should be enough to make an update. Betas were released over 1 year ago, and today no solution was found to make it work correctly?

I sent so many tips how the app could be made better with little changes and never were they applied... now it's becoming more and more useless.

Please don't answer again you are working on it...

Thank you.

Dear Giulio,

Sorry for any inconvenience. Our new developer is starting to work with our converts to PDF. When he assimilate the code, he will release new versions with bag-fixing.

HTML2PDF Pilot fully relies on IE rendering engine. Microsoft deprecated some vital methods for performing rendering of HTML. So.. yes, HTML2PDF Pilot will not function on machines with IE 9.

It may appear however that we will make other converter based on our HTML2PDF-X lib (http://colorpilot.com/html2pdfaddon.html). But it won't be soon.

Next month Microsoft will release Internet Explorer 10 and we still are missing compatibility with IE 9. We are waiting for more than 2 years to have compatibility with IE9, what should we expect for IE 10 ?

We are blocked to IE 8 and this a non sense.

reagrds, Giulio

Hello Gulio,

Hi after, so many months must we think that this little cool product is arrived at it's end?

Yes, in some sense. It is hard enough to make HTML2PDF Pilot work with new IE. So we decided to use Webkit rendering engine for HTML2PDF conversion. But it is only available as an ActiveX component:

You can try this component. Here is a small "how to start using it":

Yes, the price is higher because it is rather a component for software developers than standalone HTML2PDF converter.
