Good morning

Two days ago I bought Html2Pdf Converter, version 2.12.

I need to produce Pdf files starting from Html files running the program from command line .

My Html files have many long tables, so I need to say where to place the page breaks.

I've seen that old version 1.4 have a setting "Page break force" and a _pdfpb_ mark for placing a page break. But I could not find any thing about it in the help document distributed in the new version.

How should I do to place page breaks?

Thanks.

Best regards
Armando

Hello!
You can force page break in your HTML document like in this example:
<div style="PAGE-BREAK-AFTER: always">...</div>
or
<div style="PAGE-BREAK-BEFORE: always">...</div>
This will cause HTML2PDF Pilot to make a page break after or before the object in generated PDF document.

It works!

Thank you very much!

Dear mvf

I have used a <tr °style="PAGE-BREAK-AFTER: always"> ... </tr> in my table and it works. After this tr object Html2Pdf generates a page break.

In this table I use (on css file) the following styles:

thead {display:table-header-group;}
tbody {display:table-row-group;}

In this way, when printing, each time a page break occurs the table head is repeated.

But unfortunately it doesn't work with Html2Pdf.

How can I say Html2Pdf to repeat the table head after each page break?

Best regards
Armando

How can I say Html2Pdf to repeat the table head after each page break?

Unfortunately there is no way to do this. The only thing you can try
is adding a header after each page-break.

All of above solutions are not working......

Please install the latest version of HTML2PDF Pilot (http://www.colorpilot.com/html2pdf.html)

Setting property °style="PAGE-BREAK-BEFORE: always" is working. I've just tried it with version 2.16.108 myself.
