Hi there

we are working with the latest version of document2pdf to convert a list of .html and .doc files into pdf.

using the document2pdf.exe application (gui), everything works fine.

But if we try to convert the same files by batch (command-line), the process "freezes" as soon as we have a .doc file in the in-list to convert. no error code is showed.

any help is highly appreciated.

best regards
ricola

2.1.1 did not solve the problem for me. It still hangs on .doc files and generates a blank page on xls files.

sorry. this is still not working.
as soon as we add a .doc file to the inlist, we get the folloing error message, the script is freezing and and a winword.exe process is opened in the taksmanager.

fyi: we removed the old version and installed the new version (2.11).
Word convert from gui is still properly working.

error-message:
"the document2pdf printer has not been properly configured. the external dispatcher could not be run. please contact support."

Can we see your command line example and inlist/outlist if they are present?

My command line looks like this:

document2pdf_pilot.exe "testit.doc" "testit.pdf"

If you will provide an email address I will email the document for your review. All the document contains is one line with "This is a test".

Download please the latest version (2.11.4) from our site. There was a bug with relative path using in command line interface, we hope we've fixed it.

Hi

I am currently testing this program to integrate it in our product and I am using the trial version 2.5.78 and this problem still occurs. I can convert JPG file to pdf in command line but not .doc or.ppt files... And no error code is showed.
Do you have any suggestion?
