We just use PdfCreatorPilot.dll and I can not access the code. Could you give us the dependency of it? e.g. .NET Framework.

Hi,

Do you read http://www.colorpilot.com/pdfcreatorpilotmanual/Up grade_notes.html?
If you used PDFCreatorPilot3.dll then you must to change your code a bit for using new version.
Also such problem may occur when PDFCreatorPilot.dll was not correctly registered. Follow instructions from link above for correct registration.

Definitely we have changed the code because we have upgrated the PDFCreatorPilot.dll from version 1 to version 3, that's PDFCreatorPilot3.dll.
And in some workstations it works well but for another pc it does not work and prompts error message.
I guess some necessary components in our workstations have not been installed. But I don't know what to install or how to troubleshooting.

Hi,

Ok. And could you check, is PDFCreatorPilot.dll correctly registered on workstations on which error occurs? Also I'm interested in code sample which produces error. Thank you for collaboration!

I can not access the code just because it occurs on our customer environment. In our dev environment, it works fine.
Is it possible to investigate without code?
Which component raises this error message?

Hi,

Code is strongly desirable, but will try to investigate without it. Please tell me which program language used? You use same code on your and customer machines? In this case why are you can't send me piece of code?
There are not additional dependencies in PDF Creator Pilot 4.0. No .NET needed.
You can also create and send me log file, use UseLogging(in PDFDocument4) or LogActionsAndErrors (in PDFDocument3) properties.
For Windows XP log file will be placed in "C:/Documents and Settings/username/Application Data"

Best regards,
