We're using Chm2PdfPilot v2.16.90. Our PDF file sizes are 20-30% greater if we create them using command-line parameters compared with files generated using the GUI app. Can anyone please confirm that?

You are probably using the /compress option?

Amberlin, yes, we included the '/compress flate' parameter to a batch file and checked the corresponding option in the GUI app. Why the difference in size? Are you experiencing this? Anyone?

This looks rather strange as the same executable (CHM2PDF_Pilot.exe) is used in both cases. Is something wrong at our side (maybe wrong parameter list)? Please confirm, is it a bug?

Well, sorry, I don't know. I'm just a user. :)

I see. Are you experiencing the difference in size I described above?

I'm using HTMLToPDF and it doesn't seem to have such a problem. I have used CHMToPDF before and I remember the PDF files it produced were quite big but otherwise it worked fine.

So, does it seem to be a local problem? Can anyone check Chm2PdfPilot results using GUI and command-line parameters? We're at a loss...

You proably use "not embed fonts" in your GUI application and miss it in a command line mode. Try please to add
/embedfonts no

Sorry for the late response. Max, thanks for looking into the problem! Yes, this parameter was missing.
