PDF Online Custom Service – how it works, step by step

 

1. You place an order.
 		 You can place your order here.

After this, you will receive an automated message where you will find a list of information we need from you in order to estimate the price.

Placing an order does not oblige you to pay for the service; nor does it oblige us to perform the service. It is only a way of estimating the price.
2. You send us all the necessary information.
 		 Our estimate of the required effort, time and price is based on this information. This information will include:
 

What form(s) you intend to use. You will need to send us:
 
- a clear image of the form
- a list of fields that you want to be available for filling in
- the image of the completed form with the fields numbered according to this list
 

How you wish the PDF form to be created. Options are:
 
- the PDF-form will be created using the image
- the PDF-form will be created without using the image
 

Means by which the PDF form will be delivered, and data storage methods. Options are:
 
- the link to the filled out PDF form (given on the web-page)
- the link to the filled out PDF form will be sent via e-mail to you
- the link to the filled out PDF form will be sent via e-mail to your visitors *
- the PDF form will be sent via e-mail to you
- the PDF form will be sent via e-mail to visitors *
- the text of the form will be sent via e-mail to you
- the form text will be sent via e-mail to your visitors *
- any of the above combined

* Not recommended because this might cause problems for your visitors.

3. We send you an Agreement.
 		 The Agreement states the estimated price and the amount of time we need to complete the work. Click here for Sample Agreement
4. You prepare your server.
 		 If you find that the price suits you, you will have to prepare your server so the scripts will work on it.

1. You (your sever administrator) need to have Python and ReportLab Toolkit installed on your server. If you want to include images in your pdf files, you must install Python Imaging Library as well.

2. You will have to make sure that the libraries have been installed properly on your server. For this purpose you will have to test them. Read more....
5. You make a prepayment.
 		 The prepayment amount will be stated in the Agreement.
6. We create scripts and web-forms.
 		 We create scripts to generate PDF documents and web forms based on the form supplied by you. We optimize form images in order to decrease the size of the PDF documents.

We place all files on our server and perform tests and corrections together with you.

7. Payment and activation.
 		 If you find the results satisfactory, you make a full payment and we send you all the files (scripts and web-forms). You can then upload them onto your server.
