  1. Is the license a Subscription or is it perpetual?

Answers

  1. Is the license a Subscription or is it perpetual?

    This is NOT a subscription. You pay once and you can use the bought version forever.

    After you bought the program, please make sure you store your downloaded file and registration code in a secure location, so you can restore your bought version if you have a system crash or if you need to move to another computer. Due to high administrative costs, we are unable to provide a free service for supplying our users with old versions or reissuing ‘lost’ serial numbers.
     

  2. I don’t have a credit card. Is there an alternative payment method for the product?

    Our products are sold via registration services which let you pay not only with a credit card, but also with:

    • PayPal
    • Bank/Wire transfer
    • Giropay
    • Purchase order
    • and other…
  3. If I order now, when will I get my registration code?

    For most of our products (under 300 EUR), the download link & your registration code will be emailed to you automatically as soon as your order is processed. Depending on the payment method you used, it may take from a few seconds to several days to process your order. For example, if you paid with an e-check via Paypal system, it can take up to 5 working days for Paypal to clear the e-check.

    If you buy a product that costs above 300 EUR, you will receive registration information within two business days after your order is processed.

    If you have not received your registration information, please contact us via online form.
     

  4. I am going to buy the program, but I see no field to enter the registration code in.

    The demo version does not have the registration option. When you buy the program, you will get instructions of how to register.
     

  5. I need an invoice. How do I get it?

    After you buy a product, you will automatically get an invoice via email.

    Please note that the charge will appear on your bill not from “Two Pilots”, but from the service of our e-commerce partner that you used for buying the software.
     

  6. Why am I charged sales tax/VAT when ordering your software?

    Our prices are netto and our registration service (our e-commerce partner who sells our software) has to charge sales taxes/VAT. The exact amount of sales tax/VAT depends on the country you live and if you live in the USA it also depends on the address of the shopper.
     

  7. I am going to buy a program. In the shopping card, I switched the price to my currency and the price seems to be too high. Why?

    To take payments, we use service of our e-commerce partner, MyCommerce (Share-it). Unfortunately, MyCommerce uses significantly above-average exchange rates. You can try the following: keep the price in EUR when you order in the MyCommerce online store. Your credit card company, your bank or PayPal will convert the amount as you pay. Whether that works and whether that’s worth it depends on your bank and their exchange rates.
