How to play Slide Show on a home DVD player
 

You can create a slide show and burn a CD that you will then play on your home DVD-player. This is possible with Video Generator Plug-in for Slide Show Pilot. The plug-in is free for registered users of Slide Show Pilot.

Video Generator Plug-in system requirements:

• Slide Show Pilot 1.10 or higher
• DirectX 8.1 or higher
• MIDI files are not supported

I. How to create video files
 

1. Create a slide show using Slide Show Pilot.

2. Download Video Generator Plug-in and install it.

3. Click menu Tools | Video...

4. The following window will appear:

• select a folder where you want your video file to be created
• type in the name for your video file
• choose video format (vcd, svcd, dvd, mpeg-2, avi)

5. Switch to the Video Options tab:

• select your TV system
• select the appropriate aspect ratio for your TV screen
• make other settings if necessary

6. Click the Start button.

7. Video Generator Plug-in will convert your slide show into a video file. You can then burn this file to a cd using Nero, Roxio or any other cd burning software.

II. How to create VCD and SVCD video discs
 

Video Generator Plug-in also has an option to burn VCD/SVCD video discs. This is possible if its cd burning engine is compatible with your burning system.

1. Create a slide show using Slide Show Pilot.

2. Download Video Generator Plug-in and install it.

3. Click menu Tools | Video CD/DVD...

4. The following window will appear:

• select a folder on your hard drive where you want to store your video file
• type in the name for your video file.
• choose disc format (vcd or svcd)
• choose recorder (where to burn your video disc)

5. Switch to the Video Options tab:

• select your TV system
• select the appropriate aspect ratio for your TV screen
• make other settings if necessary

6. Click the Start button.

7. Video Generator Plug-in will burn a video disc.
