A form is a document created in Form Pilot software. A form may include a background image, form text, fillable fields, and image objects. Form Pilot Office allows creating special forms with fillable fields which can be filled in by other users with free Filler Pilot software.
How to Create New Form
A form can be created based on the active document opened in the program window. Use the File | Save as Form command:
The Form and File Names dialogue allows you to change the name of the form’s file and the name of the form. Forms’ names are displayed in the Form panel at the left of the program window.
By default, the form file is saved in the “\My Documents\Form Pilot Home\Forms folder”. The form name is also added to the form list on the Forms panel.
How to Edit a Form
1. On the Forms panel, right-click a form name and choose the Open to Edit option:
2. Edit the form.
3. Choose File | Save to save the edited form.
How to Delete a Form
On the Forms panel, right-click the form name and choose the Delete option.
How to Create a New Form Based on Another Form
On the Forms panel, right-click a form in the list. A new document, based on the chosen form, will open in the program window.
The new created form is available for editing. You can add text fields and images. In the picture, new data is highlighted in blue:
By default, the filled form is saved as a document in the Filled Forms folder.
When ready, your document can be printed or sent by fax or email.
