Author Message

Invoking command line Document2Pdf.exe from a Windows service fails with errorcode:
-22 (Cant find a virtual printer).

With the Interactive version of same service everything works fine.

What version of Document2PDF Pilot is installed?
Can we see command line string? How it is called: from batch file (bat, cmd, ...) or some program? You can contact us using our online support form to send some example files or else.

My Document2PDF version is 2.3 Trial. (we would like to integrate document2pdf in a windows service before purchasing a license)

The service is developed in C# (Visual Studio 2005) and executes a working thread that invokes this command line:

C:Archivos de programaDocument2PDF Pilot 2.3TRIALDocument2PDF_Pilot.exe C:PDF_INPRU.TXT C:PDF_INPRU.PDF

The process works fine when executing as normal windows application, but fails if executed as a Windows service (can't find virtual printer).

We have tried many configurations for the service (interact with desktop, run as diferent users, etc...) and the problem persist.

Sorry for answer delay.
Please uninstall Document2PDF, reboot and install it again. Ensure that printer "Document2PDF" is also installed.
If it is not, tell us, we'll try to find out what is the problem.
