PDF Creator Pilot library does not require any third-party applications or libraries to create, open, merge or otherwise manipulate PDF files. You will need to distribute only PDFCreatorPilot.dll with your product in order to employ PDF Creator Pilot library features.

PDF Creator Pilot uses ActiveX, also known as COM, technology. You can use library from any programming language that can use ActiveX components. Please take a look at samples for Visual Basic / Visual Basic .NET, Delphi, Visual C++, VBScript, ASP / ASP.NET, C#, PHP, Python.

  • Extended set of methods and properties for easy PDF file generation.
  • Reading and merging existing PDF documents.
  • Adding and deleting PDF document pages.
  • Unicode support.
  • Ability to create watermarks for each page.
  • Ability to add thumbnails for a PDF document.
  • Ability to use and embed TrueType™ fonts.
  • Full support for Eastern European, Turkish, Baltic, Russian, Greek, and CJK (such as Japanese, Korean, etc.) character sets.
  • Ability to create interactive PDF documents using JavaScript and hyper links.
  • Support for interactive AcroForm elements: text input fields, buttons, radio buttons, combo boxes, check boxes.
  • Encryption and password protection for generated PDF documents.
  • Ability to create and manipulate tree-like outlines.
  • Virtual device context (HDC), which can be used to draw on a PDF page using WinAPI functions. Using virtual device context you can easily add PDF generating features to your existing applications.
